The room with a river view was a peaceful retreat and the kind service from my host added a personal touch to my stay. Plus, it's just a short 500-meter stroll to the nearby Shogenji Temple for some fantastic sightseeing.

Onsen; excellent food; oldfashion building; courtesy of the staff
Some problem with the language (Japones vs English); bathroom not in the room and with only cold water.

Beautiful room, delicious food, relaxing spa's, tranquil peaceful ambience, you could hear the river.
The location is right on a bend in the road, very difficult to cross the road, BUT once inside its heaven.
